Born in Speyer in 1981 I grew up in the beautiful swabian countryside and developed a great interest for nature early on. I gained first experiences in exploring the world through the viewfinder of a camera with my parents SLR. My first own camera was a Nikon F65 which I used until I decided to go ‘digital’ in 2004 (Nikon D70).
